Product design that survives implementation
Daniel Andrade is an independent product designer based in Montreal, Quebec. He helps founders, product leads, and developers turn rough ideas, inconsistent interfaces, and unclear product flows into digital products people can understand and teams can keep shipping.
Daniel has worked across Fortune 500 companies, early-stage startups, and agencies for more than 12 years. His work moves between product strategy, user flows, interaction design, visual design, reusable UI systems, and developer handoff. That range matters when a product needs more than a polished screen: it needs decisions that survive real content, responsive behaviour, implementation constraints, and future releases.
What Daniel works on
Engagements can take the form of embedded product design support, a website or product redesign, a focused UX audit, or a design-system rescue for an existing codebase. The work stays grounded in the product, the team, and the technical system that has to carry it forward.
Daniel works directly with the people building the product, without an account-management layer. The goal is to leave the team with clearer priorities, stronger patterns, and design decisions they can continue using after the engagement ends.
How engagements start
The starting point does not need to be tidy. A product link, staging environment, Figma file, Storybook, screenshots, or a short Loom can be enough to identify where the work should begin. If something real already exists—even if it is rough, half-built, generated, or inconsistent—the Project Fit assessment is the best place to start.

Bring the rough version.
Share what exists, where the friction is, and what needs to be different after the work. A polished brief is not required.
